Glance App is an iOS app provided by neonite ("we", "us"). It displays tiles of publicly available information from the Hong Kong Government and other data providers, including public transport operators.
Your privacy at a glance: no accounts, payments, ads, or tracking. We do not collect personal data through your use of the app. If you allow location access, your location is processed only on your device.
Information we collect
Glance App does not require registration or ask for your name, email address, or payment details. We do not collect usage analytics, build user profiles, or use advertising identifiers or tracking tools. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising or analytics.
Location on your device
With your permission, Glance App accesses your device's location to provide location-based features. Your location is processed locally on your device and is not sent to us or to data providers.
You can allow or revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Location Services > Glance App. Features that depend on location may be limited when access is disabled.
Public data and network connections
The app uses internet connections to retrieve public data. When your device connects to a data provider, that provider and its hosting services receive the technical information needed to deliver a response, such as your IP address and the requested resource. They may keep server logs under their own privacy policies.
These requests are used to retrieve the information displayed in the app. We do not add advertising identifiers or tracking information to them. The providers' handling of connection information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect personal data through the app, we do not hold an app user database or user profiles to retain or delete. There is no account to close. You can revoke location permission in Settings and delete the app from your device at any time.
Any connection logs retained by independent data providers are subject to those providers' retention and deletion policies.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information only to handle your enquiry and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or to meet legal obligations. You can use the same address to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your correspondence, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the app's privacy practices change and revise the date above. If a future feature requires additional permissions or consent, we will request them before using that feature to process your information.
